RM125 2001 has been changed in a major way with a powerful new engine, lightweight chassis is all new, and more aggressive styling. The engine is lighter weight and more compact thanks to waterpump mounted externally, which reduces the size of the crankcase, and allows the engine to be mounted in the frame closer to the vertical for a straight intake ducts and improved cylinder filling. Contributing to the mid-power range higher the better is the new Mikuni 38mm carb, a revised exhaust port and an all new lightweight exhaust system.

Lighter weight RM125 new chassis has been redesigned to increase frame rigidity balance, weight placement, long swingarm, suspension calibration and overall geometry. Even the bodywork has been reshaped for better rider mobility. Add in the new Showa fork and shock absorber, plus a number of weight-saving revisions and you have some serious changes.

RM-125 FORKS NEW

RM125 2001 using the new twin chamber Showa cartridge fork with 47mm inner tube and fork springs removed from the top of each leg into the bottom of each leg, where he submerged in oil. These design changes to reduce the volume of air at the top of each fork leg and increase durability fork 'to bottoming. NEW RM 125 ENGINE
2001 RM 125 is a machine that is completely new. Bore and stroke 54 x 54.5 to 124.8cc displacement. Such as RM 250, 125 is liquid-cooled with race proven SCEM cylinder plating.
